How do you handle your anger? Do you hold it in or let it all out?

I'm a very passive person and I tend to hold things in. I don't like to be mean. People love to walk all over me. Maybe one day I will snap, lol.

Anyways what do you do? Hold it all in or just LET IT OUT!!

Or perhaps a little bit of both?

It's a good topic for me because if I'm to be honest, I'd say I have too much anger inside of me. I ended up going to see a psychologist and then a psychiatrist to help me with it and I manage to keep it under control now. But I tried all sorts of things before that, and nothing worked - and that made me even angrier, lol. I just have a sensitive heart is all, I'm easily hurt by peoples words. So now I deal with that by weighing it all up and either, a] letting it go, or, b] looking that person in the eye and confronting them. I don't care what the consequences anymore - a man should never be a doormat, I believe. BUT, it's no use me trying to be good all the time either, when I'm not, so, I vent my anger at the right time I feel.
So it's a case of 'vent or let-go'.
But I'm always keeping an eye on it. I wont let it poison my spirit.

Ideally, I try to let my anger express itself in moderation. I don't like holding it in until I just go off on someone one day. I think that express anger in a mature and reasonable fashion, instead of bottling it up is the best way to go. That way you can release a little bit of that pressure, instead of holding it all in until you finally explode.
