Do you vote?

When election time comes for a new president would you vote? Have you ever voted before? If you do vote do you only vote rarely or not at all? Do you not really care about voting? Honestly I haven't registered to vote yet. But next time I think I am going to.

I have voted and I do vote. Sadly I was one of the fools who voted for Obama, he was just so charasmatic and told everyone exactly what they wanted to hear, he promised new jobs and yet unemployment is pretty much at an all time high.. this upcoming election I am voting for Ron Paul. The only thing I don't agree with him on is that he is not for medicare or medicaid... besides for that, he has always been consistant, he doesn't say one thing and then go and say the exact opposite just depending on what croud he is speaking to. He has never voted to raise taxes, he wants the government to be smaller. And have less involvement in peoples personal lives, he believes in legalizing marijuana, he said he would pull our troops out of the middle east immediately, just as soon as it takes for the ships to get there, he believes in getting rid of the federal reserve, a banking system that puts us all into debt that strives to destroy the economy to create a global type of currency, upon many other horrid things, he used to run as an independant, bbut he has joined the repulican party so that he has a chance of being elected. He is one of the few that believe is preserving the constitution. If he is the type of leader I believe that he would be, he could really save this country from being run into the ground.

I'm not in America but I voted once when I was 18 and never since. I'm disillusioned because the politics is all the same - everywhere - and it seems to me that no REAL change ever takes place because politicians just can't change the world. That's probably up to each individual, I feel.

I think you are right. I bet you have to be crooked to even gain political power. The government is not really there for the people, but the people are there for their government.

I don't know who to vote for. Politics are confusing to me. All I know is that I don't want a republican in office. From what I've heard they want to get rid of SSI and medicare. I don't want to lose my SSI and medical card. If I lost those I would be royally fucked. Some of my meds cost over 200 dollars without my medical card. If I have to quit my meds cold turkey because I can't afford them it could have severe consequences. I could have seizures and shit. I need my meds.

I'm voting for Obama who I'm not crazy about to say the least but he's the less of two evils...Besides medicare/social security and women's rights,Romney getting into office would also be disastrous for environmental issues such as drilling and fracking...I hate Obama as far as animal rights go...Many sanctions have been lifted including enabling hunters to decimate the wolf population again...He also made the consumption of horse meat legal once again...

Some folks are yelling,vote for Ron Paul as an independent!!!Ron Paul has zero tolerance for a woman's right to choose except in the case of rape and he'd like to eliminate Social Security as well...

I do not agree with ObamaCare unless they put back the 750 billion they took out of Medicare and earn it another way...May I suggest legalizing the production of industrial hemp as well as legalizing and taxing sports betting,casinos and prostitution in these United States...

I saw Democratic National Convention the other day and it made me want to vote. Jeff and I are talking about registering soon. If I do vote it's gonna be for Obama too. Either way this government is always going to be corrupt.
