World War 2. Would you fight?

Subject: World War 2. Would you fight? Sat Feb 18, 2012 10:17 am

I look at what the generation who fought the Second World War went through - and it was a lot - and I think to myself "I would've fought".
When you look at what the Nazi's were doing to the peoples of Europe - even to their fellow Germans - it sickens me. The Holocaust, the mass executions of civilians; women, children and little babies burned alive. The pacifist in me dies.
Life is the most precious thing but sometimes you have to take lives in order to halt the murder.
Terrible times.
What do you think? Would you have fought in WW2?

I'm not sure about this one. I'm a lover not a fighter. It was absolutely horrible what the Nazis did. If I could have stopped it without fighting in a war I would have. Honestly, I would be the first one killed in battle. But on the other side at least I would have tried.

But we can train you to be a merciless killer! lol That's okay, you don't have to fight. I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to be a part of all that. Thanks.
