A Woman President and War

Not trying to sound ignorant or anything but me and my friends
were discussing what if a woman were president. Would there be less
wars? Some of them said that "a woman president would be too sympathetic and if someone started a war with us a woman wouldn't handle it right." To me that sounds kind of sexist. Other friends say that "because
most women are sympathetic there will be less wars but she still would
be able to handle a war well even if she is female, and that just
because she is female that doesn't mean she can't do a job that a "man"
does." We have yet to have a woman president. What are you opinions?

2 women come to mind. Hillary Clinton and Sara Palin. I don't think either one of them would have any difficulty at all running a war. A couple of tough ladies.

When Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister of England, she sent her troops to defend the Falkland Islands against Argentina in 1982. The Falklands War. No. I don't think women would be any different to men at all. For one thing, potential enemies might very well see a pacifist approach to politics as sign of weakness and thus becoming willing to exploit that weakness.
