| Who is your favorite author? Mine is Raymond Buckland (If you couldn't tell already lol) His books are amazing. He is a great writer and explains things in great detail. All his books are VERY interesting and educational.
Who is your favorite author and why?

| I'd have to say Whitley Strieber. Because of his personal experiences with the alien abduction, ufo, paranormal and government cover up phenomena, he has become a real fighter for truth - a dangerous thing in this day and age. And because of what has happened to him in these endeavours, his insights into the reality of the situation make him a leader in the cause for human advancement. For sure. Mr Strieber - waking people up. | |

| He sounds very interesting. I would have loved to have read his books yyeaarrs ago before I started to get paranoid about alien abduction. I started to have nightmares. There is a lot of alien history on my mother's side of the family. My uncle said that his gf was abducted and so was he. There are other stories but I wont get into them. It's still interesting though. I just can't read or watch anything about alien abduction.. It freaks me out too bad lol. But the government cover ups are ALWAYS interesting. | |

| I know what you mean. I felt real vulnerable at night for quite a while after reading his books. But it woke me up to a greater reality - another whole dimension, literally - to the human experience. My sister has also had experiences, which fit right into the abduction phenomena. She's seen very unusual things. There are plenty of cases of couples and families experiencing this together - ordinary people. It raises a lot of difficult questions too, as you are aware of. Hmmm. Whitley Striebers fiction books - in a way - deal with the experience in a not so direct way. Perhaps you could try one of those. | |

There are no stories about alien abduction in it even though it's fiction is there? What kind of fiction does he write about, just aliens? What does he write I'd read a book without any intense chapters about alien abduction.

And sure, from what I can gather he writes about all sorts of characters. His books are fantasy in nature I believe. Theres female characters too. Heres a link to his books. You're bound to find something you would enjoy: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/s/whitley-strieber/ Happy reading. Conquer those fears

I've been meaning to ask you every time books/authors and such comes up. You seem to like conspiracy theories (as do I) what I really wanted to ask is if you've ever read "Behold a Pale Horse" by William Cooper? I believe he wrote it in the late 80's but I read it in my early 20's and it was pretty damn scary. What's scarier, is he predicted his own death in that book and he said who would be responsible. In it he talks about the FEMA act (remember folks this was pre 9-11) and alot of other things that have already happened. So have you read it???? ~Chell (in anticipation)

I've never heard of Neil Gaiman - for obvious reasons I suppose - but when I was a teen I gave Stephen King a whirl. Yes, he captivated me for a little while, but, I always came back to where the most compelling reading was - for me. Non-fiction. Reality.

So have you read it???? ~Chell (in anticipation) Hello chellbilly! To be honest, I dont read all these conspiracy theories that are floating around all the time, though I did in my 20s. Im only interested in the UFO phenomena - which is tied into a wider coverup. The gov/millitary complex is covering up its own incompetence and short-sightedness in the presence of the earth-shattering. pfft. No, I haven't read Behold A Pale Horse. Sounds very interesting, especially since it scared you. Must be quite powerful. I'll def check it out Chell. Thanks very much:) Edit: Just Googled it and actually, I have heard of him! But I haven't read this book. A lot of his material is available online. I dont think the government is involved as intimately with the aliens as he claimed though. Not at all. But thanks.

Hola, When I read it I was in my early 20's and what really got me about him was he was ex-military...he had some really high clearance and he has theories as to why he was chosen. He also wrote that he would be killed for the things he wrote about...Since you googled him you may have found that he did get shot by the police, what you may not find out right away was that at the time he was shot he was in a wheelchair. I don't want to say the book "scared" me, it wasn't just the book, it was reading it and then watching the things he wrote about happen, even if just as a sidenote in the news. I highly suggest you get a paper copy of this book if it's still available. Hell, I'm so about it....I'd almost be willing to send you MINE! ~Thanks M

~Thanks M Hola chellbilly. [Im not Mexican by the way. Its just a username that I find funny:)] Hey, thanks very much for the kind offer of sending me your copy. Yes, a lot of crazy stuff is going on out there, no doubt about it. Governments/individuals - any governments/individuals, can go to all sorts of extremes to 'restrict'...anything. Even kill people - wars for example, happen all the time. Its just the way it is at present. But look, if I get the chance I'll order it, or download the e-version no worries. I'm all read-out at the moment, tbh. But, thanks again Senora chellbilly! Or is that senorita? Either way, thanks!
